Are you doing all you can to make sure your smile is your best fashion statement? Follow these tips and get the best smile possible.
Did you know your lipstick can make or break your smile…A yellow-based lipstick makes your teeth look yellowy, while one with a blue undertone makes your teeth look whiter? Go with cooler colors to make the most of your smile.
Before gulping down coffee, red wine or dark sodas, consider the “white t-shirt” rule. If it’ll stain a white tee, it’ll stain your teeth. To minimize the discoloring effects of dark beverages, swish water in
between sips, and then brush as soon as possible afterward.
Carry a “smile bag” in your purse. Your quick-fix pouch should contain lip balm, lipstick, floss, mints, toothbrush and paste. This way you’ll be prepared for those last-minute touch-ups.
Visit the dentist. Be sure to schedule your dental checkups every six months. A good teeth cleaning and polishing keeps your smile free of serious conditions, and also removes stains for a whiter smile.
